my first is, how do you collapse 2 vertex or more so that collapse to one of the vertex i selected instead of them going in the middle of the selection.

second is how do i aline vertex a lone a certain axe so the look straight :)

thanks in advance...

There is a way, but I'd have to check it out with my max at work. Can you wait til Thursday?:p

If you have meshtools (I think it's meshtools, it might be csPolyTools, or both), there is a function called "align to axis". This will straighten a bunch of vertices along their average distance from each other on a given axis. Try www.scriptspot.com

For your first question, use the target weld feature from the objects rollout in the modifier panel - then drag from one vert to the other.

And to align the verts - select the view in which you want them to be aligned (the Right viewport for example), then select View Align from the objects rollout in the modifier panel.

Or as Erilaz pointed out, there's Meshtools too :D

Hope this is what you were after!
