CGTalk - squirrel Animation

Hello Everyone,

This is a short project I've been working on while on my animation degree. We had to study an animal of our choice and go about bringing it to life.

I did it all in Maya and had lots of fun during the rigging, especially in the process of experimenting with the tail and how I would animate it.

I'm just looking for feedback; any comments to improve it would be grateful.

I thought the attempt of the short was pretty descent. I must say that the animation needs alot of work. Things were too linear and choppy. I did like the slow motion, but it would be better to represent that by animating in regular speed and making the jump much higher to compensate for the timing (from what I have seen, it isn't a good idea to put any slow motion on an animation short or reel). I thought the models looked pretty descent though. Keep it up.
