hi
i have a GNOMON Skinning 1 DVD
i've try to apply the same procedure that he did to his subD character but to my own character
the problem is that when i try to convert the subd character to a poly character , i couldn't select the resulted poly character , if i try to select the poly , the subd character will be selected too, also the resulted poly charater is not visible in the outliner.
i mean :
how can i control the poly transformation without affecting the transformation of the original subd character? i just want the same effects that he did to his subd character to happened to mine too to be able to skin and animate my character
are there any way to reduce the resulution[ hig res. poly geometry] of any polygon character
also he said that the option in the convert subd to poly option box sould be vertices->0
but when i did this the output poly geometry is too low and the value should be 1 to match my geometry,is this ok or i have to set the vertices to 0
