View Full Version : attaching camera to moving object?
dax3d 11-29-2002, 06:57 PM Hi all,
I am trying to attach a camera to a moving car, so as the car moves, the camera is right there with it. It's kind of a zoomed in shot on the front of the car.
I've tried different things with no luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
thanks

or you could parent the target to the car

the best way to do that would be to parent the camera to the car, with the camera being the child, then group the camera to itself..........this way when the car moves so will the camera, BUT you also have a level (the camera grouped to itself) where you can move and keyframe another layer of animation to the camera............so you can make it look a lil better :)
