I will soon start posting some progress on a scene that I am working on in the WIP section, this is a part of an old record player, you know with the funnel and all that. I've got 3 versions of funnels here and I was wondering which you guys thinks looks better.
The roundest one of all would have a dirty brass texture, and the others would have a black charcoally texture with some brighter ornamentation textured onto it. So, which would you think is better? :wavey:

I'd say the middle one - but with a slight curve on the 'segmented' parts... Like you have in the third one, only less.

Haha! Cool, buddy! Well thats THAT outta the way... texturing it will be a breeze, as it'll just need Cylindrical mapping, methinks. Gonna move on to build the stylus and the phonograph box next, wish me luck! :wip:

Very nice, I like the middle one also. You just need to make it so the dip is notacible.
