Hmmm..although i love Cinema4d...i'm afraid that technology-wise Cinema4d is not ahead of XSI....
But nevertheless...Cinema4d is such a nice program to master! Up to now i only miss some sort of intuitive soft-selection method like max, xsi and maya have.....oh and a well integrated axis-tool. Now we only have object-axis and world-axis..that's a bit limited if i compare it to XSI ;-)

True, but just compare the two product's value for money, of cource c4d has some features lacking, but just look at the pice tag!

Absolutely true. And it's intuitive as well. I've been playing around with MAX quite some time but right now i prefer C4D. It's wicked!

...and it just got 10 out of 10 in 3D World magazine!
One of the reviewers gripes: it wasn't out sooner!!

adam watkins review....though wouldn't expect anything less.
not that i don't agree with him.....c4d has long been overlooked...hopefully r8 will change some industry opinion.
