I created this image in Photoshop CS2 of a character in a comic book I am painting and my friend is writing. This character survives in hell and is trying to get out, but fails everytime.

Epaulet is very good but the rest a bit worst.
The first what I saw this very big different because first and second layout. It's almost hurts. Completly different style.
The second layout remind me E. Munch and is great but completly didn't match. It's only my opinion, keep working :)

thanks for the feedback. i did want the background to be slightly differnt from the foreground, but i may have made it too different. i'd appreciate any ideas on how to unify the background and foreground. thanks
