Hey,
This is my latest animation test. I would really like some feedback before I call it final. Thank you.

first of all you have some sweet overlaps in the animation but he needs more air you know more of an arch in the jump. and also offset the hand movements because it looks a bit too symetrical.

He leaves the ground too fast when jumping so make it slower. The way he lands is wrong, he should either tip over and fall to his death or reach out his feet further that way when he lands his body wieght will come into place. Its almost as if he jumped onto a mouse glue trap (his left heel should also lift up a bit)

I like everything but the pre-takeoff...I think he should wind his arms furthur back so he can throw them up and forward as he jumps, right now it looks a little like he's using them to fly...and it's hard to tell from the angle but I got the feeling that his hips (centre of gravity) could be more out ahead of the foot he's pushing off from, giving him more forward momentum. All in all, he looks quite lifelike! Good going.

Check out the standing broadjump here http://www.morehousegallery.com/artist/eadweard-muybridge/139.aspx .. you can see how far his hips are out in front of his feet on panel 5 and how much he uses his arms for momentum (though I know it's not exactly what you're going for).

I think the animation looks nice, there is just one thing that bothers me with it. He jumps off of his right foot and lands on his right foot. That is not normal when jumping, a persons balance would be thrown off jumping like that. Normally when jumping from one foot you land on the opposite foot. Just my 2cents
