Title: Love's Tidings

This piece was created for submission to a Valentine's Day themed exhibition. It's done it Painter IX using the soft oil pastel tool. The patterning was done in Illustrator. I aslo used Photoshop to adjust colors, contrast, etc.
The subject matter is pretty straight forward - Cherubs hovering around an young girl who is falling in love. I know it's sappy, but, hey, it's for Valentine's Day.
I was inspired by William Bouguereau and a bit of Shakespeare -
"Tell me where is fancy bred, Or in the heart, or in the head? How begot, how nourished? Reply, reply. It is engender'd in the eyes, With gazing fed; and fancy dies in the cradle where it lies."
