Wow awesome modeling job, you just owned the car i've been working on. The only thing i would change is the 'speckle' or the dots all over the car. I don't know if thats a photoshop filter after the render or what. I think you might be able to pull of the speckler if you only did it on the body and not on the windows. I"m not sure.. Anyway, great car!

very very cool:buttrock: but it's too noise...rendering again!

the door handles are a bit erm... flat!
the wheels need more detail, i.e. some way of attaching

Your car is really different from the original one but it's cool too! less grain please :p

I think he used brazil car paint, so thats why it has some noise from the flakes.

by looking at the second picture, it looks like someone kicked in the door sill.. seems to be dented in a bit..
the rest is pretty nice.. the doorhandles are a bit 2d... but it shouldn't be too hard to fix those...
nice twist to the original car... would also suggest lowering the noise level to get a more clearer picture.

veery nice! :bounce:
but like the others said, a bit too heavy on the grain...

Looks like someone sandblasted the whole thing and put little pits in the glass and the paintjob. And i agree with the handles being to flat.

Heh guess I am the only one who likes the grain. Sweet model.
too noise but i love the tuype of render exept the noise
I nether saw, nor heard asnything about this Mercedes SLR before and so I asked mister Google for some pictures.
I must say, that you did a great modeling job! Your model indeed looks like it should look. (Even if I personally don't like the front -it's rather untypical for Mercedes  )
And for those who didn't like the handles:
It doesn't have any! :surprised Do not ask how to get into this car :D
Here's a link with lots of pictures of the SLR:
Keep rocking! Great work! :airguitar

...sure there are handles!
They look like the one U have on a Fiat Barcheta (if somebody know it ;) )
The "real version" looks longer...or not that high!?
That concept is now... around 4years old?! I have it in any car mag ;)
The side View of MindPhaser's Car looks like a Panoz
