View Full Version : Lighting Irregular Scenes

Basically, I need to light a massive tube. The scene is an artery, with about 10 seconds of quick camera movement following a nano bot, so the light needs to be consistent over the large distance. I am using 3DS Max 8 with Mental Ray renderer. Any tips?

what if the nanobot was almost a source of light itself?

Sometimes the light is attached to the camera/probe, just above it, and fading off with distance.
