sometimes for some reason it imports the file really really tiny, or just off centre by miles. try scaling the whole thing up lots or zooming a lo in, or just try the frameing all.

thanks for the reply.
i tried that and it didn't work. i closed it and reopened it (because it's been a little weird lately) and now it says it's an unknown file format. i should be saving it as an ".ai" file right?
and when i'm in illustrator i make it an outline and put it in the bottom left corner. and nuthin :(
thanks for your help!

If your using Illustrator 9, re save the file as a AI version 8.
If that dosent work can you post the file so one of us can see if we can open it?
Mike.
Same problem. Opened the applelogo from tutorials. Worked fine.
Tried to open my own logocreation (saved as v8) but cinema creates just a null object with nothing in it.
Added my own logo into applelogo and opened in cinema. Worked fine...
Somethings wrong, just donīt know what..
Took me a lot frustration to work out the tip Mike just posted :)
Could be a new import pref or general setting that has changed from 7 to 8?
Stu.
