CGTalk - Max4 and WinXP Pro

I know that Max 4 and XP dont go together well, but it can still be done thx to the new c-dilla on the Discreets website. The problem is that the new version doesnt help. Max still crashes when the authorization window pops up.

Did anyone make it work in WinXP Pro and what did u do to make it function properly? :confused:

PS: I cant tell u much more about what errors (if any) pop up because i am not the one that is installing the program.. :(

i got winxp Sp1 i think and i got c-dilla 3.42 or so ... and 3dsmax 4.2 is running perfektly .... just make sure you install the nt version and then it should work ... I'll lokk up the corect version at home .... if you want i can mail it to you ....

well at my pc it tokk only two icorrect installsone crash ... one o I have to install the nt version ... one reboot ;) and since then Max runs like hell ;)

My XP Pro and MAX work fine. Well....as fine as MAX is going to work.

Just downloaded the c-dilla update from discreet and have had no problems. Thought I have still have not upgraded to max 4.2
That could also possibly be another factor
