CGTalk - When I apply a material a seam appears

View Full Version : When I apply a material a seam appears

Good days to all. Look in the image, they are 2 surfaces. I did use them the command Match Surfaces in the mode tangent but it is followed seeing seam. does Somebody know like touching it up?. Thank you very much.

Well, it's one of three things, unfortunately it's hard to tell just what you are referring to:

1-the surfaces aren't Joined
2-the surfaces are tangent but becuase of their shape ther is still a visible difference in curvautre, so they need to be matched with Curvature continuity.
3-the way materials are applied in Rhino(for now anyway,) they're not stretched over an entire solid, but to each surface.
