Hey everyone. I'm working on a new project, a game concept of sorts. It's called 'The Third Element' and involves two teams of special forces competing to capture vital information, alien artifacts, or enemy technology while an unknown outsider (the 'third element') tries to kill them all. This is the female light armor model for one of the teams.

At this point I need to finish the hands, harness and accessories, and then clean up the mesh. It's at about 7500 tris and could use some optimizing. Then I'll unwrap this baby and get to texturing.

Any comments you might have would be great :)

I think you are going to want some more edges in the straps going from her belt to her thighs. When her legs start bending, that geometry is going to penetrate through her legs, unless you have some edges to absorb some deformation there.

Yeah, after I do her hands I'm going to finish the harness. The straps are basically just boxes in the right position. I'll probably model right off the legs rather than have seperate entities for the straps so it all deforms properly.

Looks good! I think you should split the polys around the boot just above the sole of the shoe.
this will help with the shading on the boot. just a thought looking good!
