2 - Does Softimage plan to release a low cost/stripped down version of XSI like maya (in)complete or houdini select?
I love this line. There's hope for me yet, since the ONLY thing keeping me (and many others) from using XSI is the pricetag.

actually xsi shouldnt be too hard to port to OSX since XSI is available for linux and SGI. I think the only thing keeping it from being ported is the fact that not enough people use macs for highend 3d work. :shrug:
