Yeah and they also did creature fx for Aliens (under stan winston) and were doing Alien3+Alien4 from their own company. Those guys really seem talented.. (if anyone has seen the material from the quadrilogy dvd..) Woodruff even got to play the alien in several scenes over the years - so he must have had the coolest job on earth :D..
I wish i could go but its a little far from Denmark :/
but yeah AVP really sucked nuts..

Well.... obviously I'm in the minority, but I (and my wife) liked the film. We went in (dragging my wife) expecting to be disappointed, and were pleasantly surprised at an interesting story line and a well-shot film. I bought the DVD and have watched it several times and enjoyed it immensely. Oh well.... :)

I should've known it would be crappy when it was (a) combining two rated R franchises into a pg-13 movie and (b) made by P. Anderson. But I love Sanaa Lathan and had to see it so i deserved to be punished.
