View Full Version : keying passive/rigid body switches

Hey fellas,

i am working on a pod racer for a project, i have to make it crash. i have a pod modelled and rigged, and now i am starting on the crash portion.

my plan is to parent or constrain a group of passive rigid body "shards" to the regular pod geometry, then key the originals' visibility off on impact, and the shards visibility on, while keying the rigid bodies to active.

everything seems to work in a few tests i have done except one thing, when the rigid body is keyed to active it snaps to its frame one position.

how can i solve this problem? i have a feeling it is something simple, but any help would be great!
