Hello everyone, I have been having issues with the UV mapping in Cinema 4D. I have never tried uvmapping before so I am completely new to UV mapping, however, I know the basics of UV mapping. The reason I want to UV map is because when I try to paint the model in C4D it paints everywhere when I just paint at once spot. Now I know I can do the select polygon method to where I can make it a selection and apply a material to it that way, but I am not interested in doing this. I'd like to be able to paint it in like photoshop and then apply a material to the full object and have it actually go on correctly. When I looked at the UV map it shows everything stacked on top of one another in like cubes. Anyone know anything about this?

It sounds like you own BodyPaint from your description? If this is correct try some of the tutorials here:

or you could of course try reading the 'UV edit menu' chapter in your BodyPaint manual...
