I have a SUBD surface which was converted to NURBS, before finally converted to polygons after a litte nurbstrim giving the surface a hole.
But when I use the "general" option for nurbs to poly conversion (as I would like to), I get a different result than; if the surface had been an original nurbs surface being converted to polys. I know that the difference is the apparant adaption of the edges around the hole, when converting from nurbs with an object originally being a subd surface.
Had I used an original nurbs surface for polyconversion, the hole in the polymesh would not have had any extra edges/verticies onto it.
I havent figured out any setting that controls this. Does anyone know if there is?
