Got into a funk and went a little darker on this one. I was going to add a character but decided to add some faces into the tree itself. Had some fun doing this as I stayed away from specific details and went more towards imagination.

That's an interesting concept. . . (btw you might want to post these in WIP 2d, since PS is more of a technical questions forum). I think the image could definitely benefit from a range of mountains in the distance. Kind of like these: http://www.themysticaljourney.net/images/mystagog.jpg. The snow would be a nice touch too ;).

It feels like a dark Narnia theme, almost. I guess it's the lamp-post. . .
