View Full Version : Light linking Maya Hair

Anyone find a way to lightlink Maya hair? Or, did version 7 have a feature (which I have not discovered) that fixes this?

As a work around, I use to turn on Illuminate all for those I want to light hair. This is tedious and challenging in a light intensive scene which one is trying to refine, particularly when dealing with lights illuminating only the hair, or everything but the hair.

I don't think you can light link Maya Hair. A way I lit the hair is do it on a separate render layer, this way I could concentrate on only the hair.
