Hey everybody

I have a couple questions to you:
1) Is it possilble to change the lighting setup in MODELER? Sometimes I can not precisely model because of shadows and And is anybody know parameters of modeler lighting setup? (looks like this is one soft light with +Z direction with small angle to left)

2) Is there any command or plugin doing smoothing. LW Smooth command in most cases give results not what I want. And I want more controls:

Unfortunately you cant change the lighting in Modeler (though there have been quite a few requests into that direction, so possibly we will see something done by NT).
For smoothing:
I know that smooth- function is a bit difficult sometimes. I often just subpatch the object with SD-level 1 (no subdivision) and freeze it afterwards. You can control the amount of smoothing you want with subpatch- weights. Works pretty well.
