As much as people say they don't like Microsoft. Gates has always seemed like a very level headed man:

"Q: Microsoft has long battled to control the PC and the back-office computer server markets. Is it fighting for control of the Web now?

A: Nobody wins the Web. The Web is about people getting the information they care about. What we do is tools to facilitate that. We can make the Web a hundred times better than it is today. There's room for lots and lots of people to do that, so I wouldn't speak in terms of winning."
