I love airships!
Here's a small airship just for fun. All of the materials all procedural. I'm pretty happy with it, but can't think of a good way to attach the rudder to the body, so it currently sits detached.

The burlap material I used on the balloon is from the Cinema 4D cloth challenge:

Thank you iladi.

This is my first post in the WIP forums.

Did you delete the phongtag on the body of your airship? Its looks kind of squarish to me :)

No, the phong tag is there, but I used flat projection for the texture, so maybe that is why it looks squarish. I would have preferred to use UVW mapping, and I did try, but I can't get it to aline nicely on the mesh. The texture is procedural after all. I can't position it with precision using BP or the editor. I also tried to make a procedural wood plank material (using tiles) instead of this wood material I used, but I can't get satisfactory results with that either; I could if only I could use the wood shader in the color channels within the tile shader... oh well.
