Well this is it :P

I think there is to much snapping on the left leg, shall I lower the center of mass for thoses frames?

I suggest that you '' save as '' ;)

Anyway, I think its getting good :P

I did the minor correction to the left leg...

... What do you think?

some of it is working really well. i don't like the head movement. there's seems to be too much going on there. and the hands have way too much overlap, unless those are supposed to be sleeves hanging down over his hands. you really should get some overlap in the bicep and forearm. if you look at a walk, that's where most of the overlap occurs. the forearm is always later than the bicep, creating a very subtle digging motion.

but the body is working really well. the hip and shoulder counter looks nice. walks are tough, so pat yourself on the back, then get back in there and keep updating. :)

I added a little overlap on the arms, for the hands and the head, its because this is not a biped that fits in a character, the biped is the character itself, so I did the animation for him as the biped he is ;P

For now there is the arm correction :

I tryed to make an animation that fits the biped's personality ( thats why I added the hat :arteest: )

the arms looks a lot better. i'd tone the overlap on the hands WAY down and simplify the head motion, like i said before. i think it'll really improve on what you already have. either way, it's looking better.

Great stuff, very good for a first walk cycle...shows alot of emotion in my eyes.

Yep, definetly better than the first one. But still I think that the head is moving too much. I like the movement of the hips(up and down), but still I think that it should have a forward and backward movement when the legs are stepping forward/backward. Still, quite nice for a first run!

if your going for really exaggerated thats pretty tight... i notice a veryfew minor things like the leg close to me kinda gets stiff when its in the back positoin but for a first walkcycle id say youll be a damn good animator in no time.. it move rather smoothly though wich is what i like the most

i like overall timing and motion...
but too rigid on hip area and too much on shoulder, head and arm's secondary animation.
it should have 2ndary movement but basic is FIRST..

! character movement is driven by hip area first (roots of spine).!

trying to mimic your animation in front on mirro you'll see a lot of movement from hip to low spine area..

Whatever you do, observation and trying out yourself first!!

Overall I like it, just the head's movement can be toned down a little more. Instead try making the hat pop a little or just a little bounce to it, or jiggle if you wish. Just a suggestion. By the way i noticed that the character's right leg during the thrust to the back, there's something jerky over there. In fact, the whole right leg is a bit jerky compared to the other parts.

Like it.
