Does anyone know a way of getting/faking colored shadows in lightwave before version 7.5?

I believe there was a plugin for that, something caled LocalAmbient or something....
Just search on Flay...oh heck...here it is:

Turn on radiosity and the ambient will effect only the shadows. crank up the strenth and add a funky color. Unfortunatly this is a global effect so all shadows will have the same color. Wich is fine in most cases.
Eki's Plug-pak can do this with sliders and stuff. it's great get it...NOW also it is a per light effect.

couldn't you just render out a shadow pass and tweak the colors in photoshop to your liking? that's how i always do it.
to render in layers is to give one the power to change ones mind at any step in the process of creation.

Sure but then you don't have all that extra time trolling the Internet while waiting for renders!
