_Responsibilities
Work closely with the Director of Technology, Engine Architect and Lead Content creators on the development of cutting-edge runtime engine systems for the PS3, XBox 360 and PC.
_Qualifications
5+ years of professional C/C++ programming
An ideal candidate will have a strong, diverse technical skill set and the ability and desire to work in some (or all) of the following areas:
Physics (familiarity with Havok a plus)
Animation
Multi-threading
Optimizations
Memory management
Data formats and packing
Tools
Experience designing and developing run-time systems for 3D game engines and a working knowledge of 3D math
Ability to collaborate with engineers and content creators to develop and maintain robust and cutting-edge technology
Ability to openly discuss and review technical proposals, requirements, designs, algorithms, source code, and reference documents with engineers, content creators and managers
Ability to easily communicate technical topics with both engineers and non-technical people alike
Creative, focused, results-oriented, self-motivated, resourceful problem-solver with excellent debugging and strong communications skills
Strong desire to build industry-leading engine technology
Ability to work well in a team development environment
_Preferred Experience
Designed and implemented major runtime engine systems for a published AAA game
Microsoft Visual C++/.NET development environment
XBox 360 and/or PS3 development experience
