Monolith's IT Manager is responsible for management and maintenance of IT staff and systems infrastructure, including network connectivity, information security, and telecommunications systems. The IT Manager reports to Monolith's CEO.
_Responsibilities
Provide assistance with forecasting and budget preparations.
Manage vendor relationships.
Manage small team of high skilled IT professionals.
Consult regularly with game development and departmental managers to proactively determine IT needs.
Provide support of Windows Servers including MS SQL Server, Exchange Server 2003, source control systems and task/bug tracking systems.
Provide support to end users of Monolith desktop systems as needed.
Provide support to end users of Monolith PBX (Move, Add, Change) as needed.
Work within WarnerBros policies and standards to provide a stable and secure environment.
_Qualifications
2+ Years of IT Management Experience.
5+ Years relevant IT experience.
3+ Years experience with most of the following: Exchange Server 2000/2003 including problem resolution, SQL Server 2000, Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, Cisco Catalyst switches, firewalls, Extreme Networks equipment, WSUS, and iSCSI SANs.
At least 1 Year experience with Linux.
2+ Years of experience with firewall management.
MCSE in either Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003.
Knowledge of at least one Firewall/VPN appliance or software package.
Experience with Enterprise Antivirus Software Solutions and Antispam software.
Experience working at a software development company
Good verbal and written language skills in the English language.
Good interpersonal skills.
_Preferred Experience
Experience with Sharepoint .
Security+, CISSP, GIAC or other security certifications
MCDBA certification.
Experience with Backup Exec.
Web/Intranet Tool development or prior management of tool developers helpful.
Experience with SOX IT Control Objectives.
