For something so seemingly simple, I can't stop looking at it. :D Nice work, and forget the pink train. You need a giant pink rabbit at the end. :p

i dont get that spooky feeling, more a secure, warmth.

at the end of the tunnel should be a really big man playing a tiny grand piano?

i think it looks nice, but here is what bothers me...
-the bricks should lay horizontal, not verticle [turn them 90 degrees]
-the image that is being projected onto the wall should be blurry
other then that, it has a nice feel to it

Is this the tunnel of love, looks great:cool:

yeh I see what you mean kole, I kinda made bricks vertical on purpose for like style but i suppose they do look rather weird

I think the vertical bricks add to the illusion, but it would be interesting too see a horizontal version..

keep the vertical bricks,
ive seen tunnels with curved vertical bricks like these, adds to the strength or sommit.
and the projected image is fine as it is, its just readable.

do what you want, maybe your first instinct was correct. i ALWAYS have critiques on every thing, but i'm just one person. trust me, its better to feel comfortable with your own work then listening to what everyone says and thinks it should look like.
since this is just a concept you came up with, you have final say. now if you were modeling a famous landmark or something, then yes, you would have to listen to the general opinion.

I prefer the horizontal bricks. It really does a lot to lead your eyes into the tunnel.

haha I'm gonna have to vote vertical I'm afraid, imo its more affective.

Don't listen to these people, you clearly need diagonal bricks!

oh dear, I've been neglecting my underground labriynth project a bit, just trying to finish this part of the level off, just added a 256x256 colour/specular map, crits are most welcome

Yo YOYO,
The spec you added worked quite well. Maybe a bump would give the scene more depth. Good jorb!

cheers, yeh I may add a bump in later :)

Hey, it's coming along :)
The spec map adds a lot to it. I agree a normal/bump map might make the bricks "pop".
You should maybe add some more connecting tunnels and design some intersections, too. Would be cool to see a whole tunnel network.

This looks real cool man! I agree about the intersecting halls and stuff, will make it a little more interesting.

thanks for the crits, yeh i'll def experiment with popping the bricks and get on with completing the level, lol, I'm juggling between 2 projects at the moment, hopefully i'll get this done soon
