captain scarlet 01-03-2006, 09:09 PM whats the best way to model a bolt which has had a thread machined into it??? have a clue on how to start it so any help would be great.

Use both the spiral spline and a circle and toss them both into the "sweep NURBS" tool. Adust the ispoarms as neeeded. and try to keep the geoemtry (mesh) as light as possible.
