View Full Version : what happened to Subfur?
AnonymousArtist 12-31-2005, 08:13 PM It seemed like a useful tool, but I can't find it in the new 2.40 version of Blender.
What made the devs decide to get rid of it? If its on the Dev Forum, it'd be nice to know, because I have very small time to read that forum, and many others...

If you mean Subsurf then yes it has been moved to the modifier stack.

Yep, thats it. I'm glad its still there because I use it alot when I do high poly organic type modeling.
Don't have the time to read alot of the Blender news these days so I'm glad you folks don't mind spreading the word. Thanks.
small edit: thanks to your reply, I have found out the new location and methods of using "Subfurf", however, in my copy of Blender, it is located in the 'Editing(f9)' menu. :arteest:
