Hey guys,

I got a $50 Barnes and Noble gift card for Christmas and ordered Jason Osipa's book Stop Staring. I wanted to make sure that I had made the right decision before making the book unreturnable so I did a search here and read up a bit. Seems like most people couldn't say enough about this - but then again - I WAS only looking for threads that had this book in them. So what's the skinny? Is this the best book that I should get or should I consider a different & better one? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks guys - Mike

P.S. I have the T4D plug-in ;-) Just haven't used it yet (I've got 3D Attention Deficit Disorder - I keep getting hairs up my arse to tackle different techniques/model different types of objects). What do they say, "Jack of all trades, master of none?" Heck - I'm not even a jack yet!!!

Stop staring is excellent and is the best for facial animation, but is Maya oriented. Its your choice.

Yup, it's definitely excellent :) Although it's based on Maya, you can apply its techniques on Lightwave too, and you will find facial animation extremely enjoyable.
