Hi all,

I was just curious if there was any crowd simulation in XSI 3.0, or if you had to get Behavior for this purpose. I know Behavior is specifically tailored for this purpose, I just didn't know if there was some sort of smaller scale function built into XSI. Just trying to compare difference with another 3d package.

thanks

not yet to my knowledge,
in XSI there's an army maker addon that distrubutes characters with a few options
perhaps through behavior there can be more addons made to aid in some preset crowds setups with some options for others to use.
ask on the SI XSI list

Hi,

thanks for the quick reply. When you say army maker "addon" do you mean separately purchased plugin? If so, do you know the approximate cost? (Didn't know if it was like the 15 grand for Behavior.

thanks again

for certain licences I think you get behavior with xsi. Personaly I think for the price you should be able to get them together.
