Hi Dan, it certainly looks impressive from the gallery page! :applause: I'm downloading my free version now.

I was wondering if you'd be able to tell me a little bit about the system. I'm in development of a program that does natural-media effects at the moment, except with automatically generated strokes rather than user-input. I'd love the chance to discuss your methods with you, please get in touch!

for some reason ..setup.exe doesnt do much

i get the initialization window...then some popup window saying theres been some command line problem, unable to continue..

and then once i click on it opens up another window saying \

setup was not completed successfully.

im running windows XP by the way. is there going to be a demo of 1.5? maybe with a disabled save? or limited features.. or maybe limited canvas size? id love to try it out.

The actual error message might help.

sorry if the error was a bit vague :) but what i wrote above was all what i got in the popup menu :)

anyway i got it working. stupid me was installing it from my desktop. sorry about that.

i tried it and heres what i think. ( now im sure 1.5 fixed all of this. but ill give my thoughts on 1.1b )

for some reason it seems rather slow at updating strokes. its not that its taking time for them to appear but when im using the wacom the strokes are segmented. so im forced to paint really slow..

the colour mixer/palette is GENIOUS!!. ive been waiting for something like this in other apps forever.

when having the ruler on, and painting..the ruler keeps flashing.

for some reason i kinda find the brush menu a bit un-intuitive. its not too bad, i just cant seem to make any decent brushes. ( unless i have to download certain presets.) ill play with it a bit more and see whats up but these are my early thoughts.
