Title: Broken Time
Name: Young Hahn
Country: Australia
Software: 3ds max
Hello all,
First, I thought It is easy to make a watch like this..(H3LL NO!)
2nd, I was gonna make a 10 secs animation of this..(NO WAY! I now understand the theory - Time vs Quality. I need 3 weeks rendering time for 300 frames which I cannot do)
3rd, Am I having a good holiday? (OH YEAH!)
Hope you guys like as much I do, and HAPPY New Year!

Very nice picture! Love the textures.
It took me a while to notice that the glass on the face has been broken and is sitting next to it. I think the bits where it's broken look a bit too clean perhaps? As in much too straight and at right angles to really look like it's been smashed or whatever happened to it.
Oh wait, I only just noticed that the clock parts are actually shooting out of the front, just like it's in the process of being smashed. That's an interesting idea, but somehow isn't as obvious as it could be. It took me a while to realise that was happening.
But either way, it is still a very nice render in its own right though.
