View Full Version : serious old man
Matellis 12-29-2005, 12:26 PM Hey everyone , This is going to be my first serious attempt at 3d modeling. So its going to be an old man with an old trucker shirt and hat. This is what I have so far , about 5 hours of work. My work flow has been this .
-Did my low poly model in zbrush
-then took it into maya to clean it up
-then took the cleaned up version in tozbrush and started getting some more basic form and I just divided the polys now.
Any crits are most welcome .

I am just playing around with a look for this guy so I modeled a trucker hat for him. So my plan for this image is to have an old man sitting on a rocking chair sitting outside of either his house or some gas station. I am still not sure what im going to have him doing , maybe strocking a shotgun or widdling a stick or something else. Any crits are most welcome! :)

The model is coming along very nicely. I think you may want to smooth and remove the deformation just below the forehead, or should I say where the nose meets the forehead. that thing looks a bit strange.
keep it up...

well, I think you should smoothen it off, Its a GREAT model, I think there may be too much bumpyness on the forehead though, keep it up I want more!
