CHARACTER ANIMATOR
Job Description:*
-Design feature quality, real-time, 3D character animations.
-Cooperate with designers, engineers, and pipeline programmers.
-Create from storyboards.
-Interact with clients and production team members.
-Develop character profiles – booklets, studies, model sheets, color schemes etc.
-Prepare mock up to final animatics required for real time installation
Qualifications:
-3+ years experience in 3D key-frame animation
-2-3 years professional animation experience
-Able to create high quality visuals in high-end software
-Experience with Houdini preferred, but not required
-Background in fine art preferred
-Creative artist with the ability to adapt styles and themes
-Fluent in all aspects of character development: *gesture, timing, blocking, pace, portions, and shapes
-Fluent in camera movement and angles
-Able to fulfill tasks and meet production deadlines with little or no supervision
-Task driven and good time management skills
-Takes direction, possesses good team work and communication skills
-Commitment to personal and peer development and sharing best practices.
-Excellent written and oral English
-Expertise in production
