Great job so far, reminds me of magic man (darren yeow)'s stuff. This pic calls for some really dramatic lighting, go for it man!
Will keep an eye on this. I don't normally like mutants/orc stuff, but this is different.

Thankyou all for the lovely replies :)
It was at first intended to be a quick concept sketch for a 3d model... then It ended up being a detailed sketch. Now im considering making it a painting, Im pretty new to painting still, but Ill give it a go, (Im nowhere near the standards shown on this board)
Heres the fully finished sketch.

Hello,
It's looking pretty good so far, one thing that I will point out is that the jaw perspective is incorrect, as it stands it is as if the jaw is extruding to the left as well as downwards. Of course, if that is what you have intended, forget what I just said ;)
Something along these lines perhaps... (sorry for the shoddy mousework ;) )

Hmm. I think I like the jaw in its original form. Not trying to jump in just to disagree with JMcWilliams, (btw, nice bathouse project,) but it has a twisted, non-symetrical thing goin' on that I think is working rather nicely.
My two cents.

awesome creature! cant wait to see a fully colored version :)
i kinda like the dislocated look of the original jaw, but it depends on if it's supposed to be dislocated in the first place lol

whoa, this is awsome! Great Job!
The scar on the creature remind me of this crazy drunken guy who robbed a pair of sneakers from the store i worked at last summer!

I agree with enginesOfCreation, though it's wrong the out of perspective jaw it fits nicely with the twisted mood of the creature.

Thanks for all the great input, Yep its funny because I went through this myself with the jaw issue, I did intend for the jaw to be as open as possible, pretty much a 90degree angle to the top skull, but the perspective was just off (on the top skull)
I decided to leave it as is, the silhoutte and shape of it just compliments the picture more the way it is now.
Anyway I actually started painting this dude, when I get a bit more progress Ill post it up (dont expect anything briliant)
