I am desperatley trying to create little hills covered with sunflowers and grass.
I dont want to have the sunflowers all point the same way (that flat card duplicate look), but they do not need to be photoreal either.
I played around with Storm Tracer for a few hours and came up with nothing. Having no manual, Storm Tracer is pretty impossible to use.
Can anyone suggest how to do this? Perhaps the new Hair from Maxon? I would gladly buy Hair if it will work, as I know there will be plenty of support for it, and be user friendly...

There was a post of a green field covered in Grass I saw a while back doen with Hair, but will it do sunflowers?

thanks again

hi, you can do this in storm tracer just using the preset grass and preset flowers that come with it (and some minor tweaks to colors). there is a manual that comes with storm tracer and covers every interface element with a few small examples in some cases ( http://www.thirdpartyplugins.com/stormtracer/quickstart/ ) , there is also the forum and a number of example files and presets (and even video tutes by some teasters) posted there for you to disect.
