I really wish I had discovered this forum earlier on before I went this far in the painting. I only started to paint with photoshop around this summer, so although this isn't my first piece, it's still very much a new territory for me. As usual, I didn't go to seek help until I got stuck with this. Heh...

I don't know where to go with this painting anymore. There are things wrong with it that I don't quite see and it feels as though I don't know what to do next, though I'm certain that it's not quite time to move on from the face and skin tone to do the clothes, hair etc.

So this is what I've gone up to now, and I think I've ran into some more serious problems regarding black hair, which I really have no experience coloring and I'm not certain which colors to pick for the black and the highlights. Looking at it now, I think that I really shouldn't have started with a black base like that.
