London Inner City Low Poly Game Environment WIP
1 x 512 x 512 Texture
Maya & Photoshop
It's part of a long-ish street, this was where I had got to before my monitor exploded several days ago...
Any ideas anyone? I'm not that much of a computer whizz and every time I turn it on it just makes huge banging noises...

dude, that's 512 map? wow, I'd love to see the map and wires!
as for your monitor, if it's making noises, it's probably time for a new one. :)

wow i didnt notice the texture count, a single texture for all that, and its 512? amazing work man. i was wondering why it was as sharp as i'd expect but now i know that... its amazing.

ah thanks for the replies peeps :blush: yeh just using one 512 x 512 texture for this environment, now at 1595 triangles

I finished this on my old 15"er, alas christmas sales so I should get back on track.

hehe, it's turning into de olde london, unintentionally, I'm being a bit more generous with my polys and textures with this part of london, just the 1st stage of modelling, let me know what ya all think, it's at 1088 tris at the mo

great work keep it up :)
for your untextured models i think you should render them with light tracer so we can see the detail.
put a single skylight in your scene then press f10 and for (i think its) advanced there is a drop down - choose light tracer then render.
