Hi all,

This is my first post so I'll quickly introduce myself then get on with it. My name's Andy, I'm from England and I've got a 3DS Max dilemma I'd like some help with please.

I've been making some notes from this tutorial (http://www.3dtotal.com/ffa/tutorials/max/joanofarc/bases4.asp)on UVW unwrapping. I'm at the point on the 4th page (That I've linked to) where it says you should expand your selection to select whole objects and move them into their own space but my edit UVW's interface doesn't seem to have an expand button.

I'm using version 7 of max and I've checked the current options in my UVW's interface thoroughly but can't find a lead. I'm wondering if anyone knows why there are buttons missing, or if there's a plug in which I need to enable more edit UVW functions?

Thanks in advance for any replies and I apologise for my first post being a question! Enjoy Christmas,

...Andy

Basically he means to expand what you currently have selected and move it.

Look on the bottom of your UV Editor for a " + " button.

You can even go to the Modify Tab and, while making sure you're on the UV Unwrap modifier in the stack, look for the section underneath the stack called "selection parameters" (it should be the first one). The first thing you should see are " + " and " - " buttons.
