View Full Version : netrender callbacks - how do they work?

Hi all,

I am pretty new to the netrender interface and couldn't figure out how to use the callbacks. The reference doesn't give enough insight on how do they work.

I have 2 main issues:

First, I couldn't delete a job when completed. I used the sample given in reference for the #update callback and replaced the job.GetUpdate() with job.Delete() but nothing happens. Also, the callback is run from the opened max session on my machine or from the server? (I'm asking this because after the scene was submitted there were a lot of "Error: Access Denied" in the listener ...)

Second, is there a way to netrender without saving the final image?

I would appreciate any answer!
