I'm creating a chain using joints, IKspline and using a curve as hair. The chain and all seems great, but the problem I'm running into is when I try to have the end of the chain constrained to a character. I want this character to be able to move around and have one end of the chain stuck to the wall, and the other stuck to him.
Maybe by using an IKspline is the wrong way to go?
I'm not so good with dynamics and am new to hair... :(

This is doable. I haven't futzed with this much, but I know that the cgToolkit guys do it with a hair solver-based setup, with some script they have called cgTkDynChain, I think... just look for a way to constrain each end of the chain, and constrain one to your character's wrist joint.
