Decided to do an illustration inspired by Jules Vern's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. I took some creative liberties with the squid and made it look a bit more of a mutant sea monster.
I tried the give it a bit of a cluastrophic and dreadful feel by keeping the action partially confined in a cavern.

Fantastic! It looks great, i like submarine design and octopus a lot, keep it up :bounce:

nice composition and colours, but lack of underwater atmosphere. I think that adding some bubbles or silt should help.

Sorry i'm very late, but this is such a good illustration!

I saw your two recent images and followed links to your portfolio and then to your other posts. Great style, lovely use of 'paint' and beautiful colours on all of them....

And two thumbs on the front page... at the same time!! Congratulations!
