Title: Rotting Behind The Wheel
Name: James Kaufeldt
Country: Sweden
Software: CINEMA 4D, finalRender

Just a quickie here based on models I've built for the last few challenges, and I just felt I should put them together in a new context somehow.
To avoid the "default type" car render, I decided to put a zombie driver behind the wheel.

Interesting concept. I guess zombies gotta get around too, right? I agree with SNoWs, the zombie needs more detail. I would also change the reflected map to something without trees, since trees (or their shadows) are not visible in the background but are all over the car.

There is one thing that is bothering me, the fact he's on a highway, and the reflections are as if he's in a neighborhood with trees, otherwise very nice.

and shouldn't those tree's be motion blured too ? :wise::D

yeah and more blood or bits being blown off in the wind, he does have the window open after all :D:bounce:

and you're still a nut

hi james :D ,
i think the driver should put his hand out and rock hard as he did when you first made him. is that the bmw that was about to be crashed by the aeroplane? . great modelling and textures as always james ,nice motion blur on the road. could use the same blur in the reflection map as well. i like the lighting of the scene kind of harsh shadows though.

Splendid car rendering here! I agree about the reflection comments and also ... maybe place him in some sort of environment?
The car is a beauty, from what I can tell, all your hard work with it has payed off well

Och God Jul! :)

Nice men i like it,

I agree to a previous post about your reflection map, you should check to see if another image of a highway or some type of building could put more realism to your image.
Like one of my friend always says here's my two cents !!

Thanks for the comments, dudes and dudettes - and I agree with the crits too. If I wasn't horribly lazy, I could theoretically implement some of the suggested improvements :D

Merry christmas and a happy new year to all of you :wavey:

Cheers
