Nice one! Did you post it on XSI Base too?
It'd probably go down well there!

That solves the one and only gripe that I have (had)
How can you make it load as default?

lowdown: i was wondering the same thing.
the default layout can be returned using the command under layouts, so not an issue to edit default xsi layout and move a few splitter lines in the layout so the default layout allows room for the taskbar

no, i was wondering if it was possible to make the toolbar friendly one the default
I unerstood your question, sorry we haven't found a way yet.
Thank you for sharing, I wish more people shared their layouts especially the task specific ones with toolbars and some custom commands like the new poly one. Its not meant as offence, it doesn't take too much to move the splitter bars to make the default layout toolbar friendly so it might be the best way to do it for now.

i wasnt taking any offense, because thats all i did was move the splitter bars (my first toolbar friendly default layout)
i was just saying i was wondering how we could set it to default layout.
