This is totally n00b, I know. I've somehow managed to lose my time slider at the bottom, and I can't for the life of me get that stupid #&$%er back. There must be some key or something I'm missing... I can't animate without it!

I am sure there is a proper way to go about this that I don't know of. In such cases I always go for the keyboard mashing and preying technic, if that fails a damn hard technical tap to your computer case usually doesn't solve the problem either, but damn it makes you feeel better. :)

Yes, I tried the key mash, and much to my dismay, I caused three other problems. (Those, I managed to solve on my own.)

I also attempted technical taps on the computer case, the desk, several walls, and a small dog. Much to my dismay, the results were little more than bruised, um, tapping instruments, and one very angry chihuahua.

If anyone else has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

give this a try, go up to the customize menu, click on ShowUI, and then select "show track bar".
