HI all,
I am wondering has anyone encountered the same problem, especially at the crunch hours :(

Some of my scene files failed to render after first frame. There only error message I got is "Maya aborted due to errors". The funny thing is, those files that failed to render, seem to render fine on one machine. When I tried to render the file, I copied the whole project directory over... and till now still can't get any regular pattern on how it happens.

One other thing is under render global, sometimes the camera drop down menu would have something like camera1(Renderable). When the word (Renderable) appear, it means the scene may not be able to render. How did it happen??

Many thanks in advance.

Zin

Select your camera, go to the attribute editor and under "output settings" check to see if "renderable" is ticked. Usually you want it on for only ONE camera, if more than one camera has renderable on, you'll get the "(Renderable)" besides the camera in the render globals drop down list.

No idea about your render errors though, really weird. :/
